| Maryam’s Soap Nook’s Terms and Conditions of Sale Please read this document carefully. It contains the terms and conditions that apply to the purchase of products from Maryam’s Soap Nook (Maryam Soap Nook). No different or additional terms or conditions are accepted or binding unless the terms or conditions are reduced to writing and signed by the owner and proprieter of Maryam’s Soap Nook and the Customer. Maryam’s Soap Nook may change or modify these Terms and Conditions of Sale from time to time in its sole discretion. 1. Availability and Pricing: Maryam’s Soap Nook reserves the right to adjust prices at any time and without notice. Further, product availability is subject to change without notice. If the website or brochure/catalog displays an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel your order and provide a refund, or adjust to the current price. All orders are subject to acceptance by Maryam’s Soap Nook. Orders are not binding upon Maryam’s Soap Nook until accepted by Maryam’s Soap Nook. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Currently products are not available for shipment outside the United States. Maryam’s Soap Nook reserves the right to refuse service, or cancel orders in its sole discretion. 2. Shipping and Handling: The United States Postal Service (USPS) is our designated shipper, and orders are shipped via Priority Mail. Shipping and Handling costs include cost of shipping plus delivery confirmation. A valid street address MUST be provided. If an incorrect address has been provided by The Customer and the USPS charges an additional re- routing fee for address correction, The Customer will be held responsible for all re-routing charges. Please be sure to double check that your address is correct. Re-routing fees must be paid before placing any future orders with Maryam’s Soap Nook. If USPS returns your package to Maryam’s Soap Nook because of an incorrect address, The Customer will be held responsible for new shipping charges. (TAT) Turn around time on most orders is approximately 10 days, excluding time in transit. During the holidays, turn around time may take an additional 2 business days. Delivery dates provided in advance are estimates only and shall not represent fixed or guaranteed delivery dates. 3. Returns: Because Maryam’s Soap Nook cannot assure the purity and/or integrity of a product once it is in the hands of The Customer, we do not accept returns due to the nature of our products. However, If your merchandise has not been opened , it can be returned within 15 days of receipt, and there must be no evidence of The Customer use of Maryam’s Soap Nook products in the case of returns. Please note: Returns will only be processed if we are notified within 7 calendar days of your mailed receipt of the item (day the package arrives). Please make sure you contact us within 7 days of receipt for requests for a refund. We must receive your return item within 15 calendar days of your receipt of the product(s). If these conditions are met you will receive a full refund of the total purchase amount, less any shipping and handling fees that may have been charged, and a 15% or $5.00 return processing fee / restocking fee, whichever is greater. There are no returns on specials. Returns require shipping costs to be paid by The Customer. All returns are made at our sole discretion. Not all requests are approved and we reserve the right not to accept a return if we believe that the item is not in resellable condition or the circumstances do not warrant a return 4. Local Orders: Please note that Maryam’s Soap Nook is an internet based company. Because we do not maintain a storefront, we are not able to accept walk-in customers or offer local pickup. If you are a first time customer, please do not ask if you can pick up your order, or have your order delivered. The answer will be no. Further note that Maryam’s Soap Nook reserves the right to hand-deliver products and/or allow walk-in customers at its sole discretion to repeat customers only. 5. International Orders: Maryam’s Soap Nook ships within the United States only. 6. Warranty & Disclaimer: MARYAM’S SOAP NOOK PRODUCTS ARE NOT A CURE FOR ANY SKIN DISEASE OR AILMENTS OF ANY KIND, AND ARE NOT TO BE USED IN THE PLACE OF APPROPRIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE SUITABILITY OF PRODUCTS FOR ANY PURPOSE PARTICULAR TO THE CUSTOMER IS FOR THE CUSTOMER, IN THE CUSTOMER’S SOLE JUDGEMENT, TO DETERMINE. MARYAM’S SOAP NOOK ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SELECTION OF PRODUCTS SUITABLE TO THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS AND PURPOSES OF ANY PARTICULAR CUSTOMER. Since Maryam’s Soap Nook cannot control the manner of use of its products after their sale, Maryam’s Soap Nook will not be responsible for any consequential, incidental or indirect damages. Additionally, certain persons may be allergic to some ingredients in the products sold by Maryam’s Soap Nook. It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to determine whether the products purchased are suitable for his/her needs. 7. Artistry: ALL OF MARYAM’S SOAP NOOK PRODUCTS ARE HANDMADE. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE PRODUCT, MARYAM’S SOAP NOOK DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY TWO BATCHES OF THE SAME PRODUCT WILL BE IDENTICAL. MARYAM’S SOAP NOOK RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE DESIGN OR PATTERN OF ANY BATCH OF HANDMADE SOAP OR PRODUCT AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION. 8. Force Majeure: Maryam’s Soap Nook shall not be liable for loss or damages caused by any delay or failure to perform resulting in whole or in part from Acts of God, severe weather conditions, labor disruptions, governmental decrees or controls, insurrections, war risks, shortages, inability to procure or ship product or obtain permits and licenses, or any circumstance beyond the control of Maryam’s Soap Nook in its business operations. 9. Governing Law: SALES TAX is applicable to orders shipped within New York State. 10. General: All orders are subject to acceptance by Maryam’s Soap Nook. Any representation, affirmation of fact and course of dealing, promise or condition in connection therewith or usage of trade not incorporated herein, shall not be binding on either party. 11. All fragrance oils used by Maryam's Soap Nook are purchased from reputable fragrance oil suppliers. All fragrances used are formulated with components that have been approved by the fragrance regulating (RIFM) Research Institute for Fragrance Materials and those that are carefully reviewed by the IFRA (International Fragrance Association) Scientific Committee. Fragrances comply with RIFM standards. Maryam's Soap Nook fragrance suppliers do not do testing on Animals. |
